    News

President Donald Trump has been in office for a very short time but for the rest of the country, it seems like a lifetime. In what has become a presidency similar to a television reality show, Trump’s short time in office has been filled with drama and has caused perhaps the worst anxiety for Americans of any administration in history. Now comes word that even Melania may have had it with the bombastic billionaire turned president of the United States. The president was recently asked if he’s lonely not having Melania  in the White House, since she decided to stay with son Barron in New York.  His response set off alarm bells:

“No, because I end up working longer. And that’s OK.”

Now, it what will be a first, Melania will likely not move to the White House:

“A family insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly –that may not happen. ‘They will reevaluate toward the end of the school year if they will keep this arrangement or if Melania and Barron will move to Washington,’ says the source. ‘They could go either way right now. They will ultimately do what’s best for Barron.'”

Although the idea that a first lady would choose not to live in the White House is unprecedented in American history, its shouldn’t be a surprise given Melania’s body language next to her husband throughout both his campaign and short presidency. She appears uncomfortable and at times unhappy and it’s not necessarily because she’s now the first lady. It may be because of who she’s next to. Here’s what India Ford, a body language trainer and founder of Talkbodylanguage, told The Independent:

“She just didn’t look comfortable in her skin especially around Trump. She appeared on the inauguration day as though she was walking on egg shells around him, nervous and uncomfortable.”

“Mrs Trump appears to be constantly keeping herself in check. There is very little natural body movement and her gestures are very minimal – she very rarely looks at ease’.”

“Like a child looks for validation from a parent, she appears to be looking for validation from him.”

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Melania would want to stay as far away from her husband as possible. Those who voted for him will be thinking the same thing soon.
