  • BREAKING: Mueller’s End Game For Trump Is Revealed And It’s The Perfect Way To Take Him Down

    Donald Trump, Mueller, Russia

It looks pure terror may have been behind Donald Trump’s weekend Twitter tantrum directed at Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his ongoing investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 presidential election.

Axios reported on Monday that during a meeting with Trump’s lawyers, Mueller expressed a keen interest in events which took place after the election. His focus concerned the firings of Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and former FBI Director James Comey. However, his inquiries could stretch much further into other departures.

This news suggests that Mueller is looking beyond just collusion with the Russians, he may also be looking into evidence related to possible obstruction of justice charges against Trump and his administration.

Trump fired Flynn in February 2017, shortly after it was exposed that his National Security adviser lied to Vice President Mike Pence concerning whether or not he’d had any meetings with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak regarding sanctions imposed by President Barack Obama’s administration.

Later that year, Flynn also pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his discussions with Kislyak.

Last May, Trump also decided to fire Comey. And while Trump and his administration officials gave a multitude of explanations for Comey’s dismal, when Trump spoke with NBC’s Lester Holt, just days after his decision, he directly implied that he fired Comey because of the Russian investigation.

“When I decided [to fire Comey], I said to myself, I said, ‘You know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made up story,’ Trump said on May 11.”

Months later, Comey testified before Congress and told lawmakers that Trump put direct pressure on him to sabotage the investigation into Flynn.

“‘I take the president at his word that I was fired because of the Russia investigation,’ Comey also offered.”

This weekend, Trump labeled Mueller’s investigation a “WITCH HUNT!” and accused his former opponent, Secretary Hillary Clinton, the Democratic National Committee, and the Obama administration of using “fraudulent activities” to take him down.

He also railed against recently fired Fbi Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Despite Trump’s attempt to muddy the waters, one thing is crystal clear: Trump is scared to death of the latest tack Mueller’s investigation has taken and will do anything to discredit and distract his way out of facing justice. However, unlike Trump’s previous bouts with the federal government when he was a civilian, he’s not going to be able to defeat Mueller with either legal or political shenanigans. While Trump continues to whine and cry louder and louder, Mueller remains silent, focused, and relentless. That more than anything else scares the living hell out of him.

I believe America's a stronger nation when we come together as one to find a solution and humble ourselves enough to consider other points of view from our neighbors around the world. I don't believe in American exceptionalism, but I do believe America can only be an exceptional place as long as we can be brutally honest about its strengths and weaknesses.
