Donald Trump’s privileged daughter-turned-White House adviser received an earful of backlash on Thursday after turning to Twitter to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Originally known as International Working Women’s Day, the observance is one that Ivanka should stay as far away from as humanly possible — she simply has no business taking part in it.
“Today we come together in recognition of women at home & around the globe. We celebrate women’s achievements, past & present, & pledge to empower women to reach their full economic potential for generations to come. When women thrive, we ALL succeed.

Several women (and men) criticized the wannabe First Lady and her foul-mouthed father for their shameful track record on women’s rights — using Ivanka’s business practices, White House role, and the fact that her clothing brand’s merchandise is produced in foreign factories, where laborers (both men and women) receive the lowest wages and have limited ability to advocate for themselves. Here were some of the reactions via Twitter:
Ivanka, your hypocrisy and lack of awareness are pitiful. Save yourself and go back to New York. You just make a fool of yourself with every fake tweet about caring for women, or anybody but your money.

It’s inappropriate for you to say anything about women when your father is accused of 19 sexual assaults and had an affair with a porn star he paid to keep quiet before election and is still bullying her into silence today. Inappropriate- that’s the word right Ivanka?

You don’t care about women at home or work, you don’t care about empowerment, you care nothing about us…all you care about is the #TrumpGrifterFamily and their bottom line. U are making money every day in the WH off of presidential seals & making and selling products overseas pic.twitter.com/7fibKOVPqf

How about you start acting like a woman instead of a spoiled little rich brat. That hasn’t worked hard for anything. Daddy paid for everything

I honestly believe you have zero interest in women and women issues. This is all an act.

You hold a position that should have gone to a qualified woman who worked hard to achieve it, not because she’s the object of her daddy’s incestual fantasies. Don’t you dare talk to us about empowerment.

Although Ivanka can’t be held responsible for her horrible father’s actions, she is, however, responsible for never achieving anything without the Trump family name. Celebrating women’s achievements means that as women, we should aim to uplift and to teach others humility, passion, and honesty. The only thing Ivanka has taught women is how to live on nepotism, greed, and corruption.
